Meet The Team

Hi, I'm Stevie-Gwen (AKA When She Takes Photographs) the founder and editor of "The Haps Magazine". I have been in the heart of the music industry as a photographer for over a year now and I have truly fallen in love with storytelling, both within music and the world that surrounds it! Having studied English and journalism at university I have always dreamed of starting my own publication however, Not until about six months ago did I dream it would be one dedicated to music!

Music has always been a massive part of my life, which I can believe many would say and that's why I think it is so special. Music is one of the most accessible art forms there is and there are artists and genres for everyone! This is why I have decided that this publication will be one to support the up and comers, the next artist to create your next breakup playlist, your wedding song or even the one tune that helps you breathe better in crowded spaces.

I can't wait to see where this magazine leads me!

Hi! I'm Quentin (aqhotography). Based in Merseyside, I've been a concert photographer for almost two years and was inspired to do this by the amazing bands in my local scene. Basically all I do is go to concerts, a lot of the time to take photos, so at this point it's the core of who I am.

I'm in this for, and to support, my local bands, so in 20 years when people look back on bands that blew up, and bands that didn't, maybe they'll look at my photos the way I look at photos of my favourite bands from 20+ years ago.
I'm super excited to be joining The Haps as a photographer to promote grassroots gigs and music!
